CEPRA – The Professional Training Center for Automotive Repair was created in 1981, following the signing of an agreement between the Institute for Employment and Vocational Training, I.P. (IEFP, I.P.), the National Association of Automotive Trade and Repair Companies (ANECRA), and the National Association of the Automotive Sector (ARAN). The approval of this agreement, which granted CEPRA legal personality, was carried out through order number 16/88, of January 7, which defined CEPRA as a legal entity of public law, non-profit, with administrative and financial autonomy and its own assets. The objective underlying the creation of CEPRA is based on the professional promotion and enhancement of the automotive repair sector and related services and industries represented by the signatory associations, through vocational training. In addition to these activities, as a contribution to the national strategy that will enable the raising of qualification levels for young people and adults, and the professional certification of automotive sector professionals, CEPRA has a Qualifica Center, where RVCC processes, Recognition, Validation, and Certification of Competencies, take place.
