The Centre Métropolitain de Chirurgie is the only private hospital in Quebec with commendation from Accreditation Canada, holding 17 beds and 4 operating rooms. Since 1973, it has prioritized adherence to performance standards for care, quality, and patient safety. The care offered at the CMC is provided with a focus on patient support and the uniqueness of their experience. We foster a culture that includes, among other things, the continuous improvement of everything we do, day after day. Our Mission The Centre Métropolitain de Chirurgie serves a private clientele. Its priority is to ensure a high level of quality of care and services while meeting the highest standards for healthcare continuity and safety. Its activities primarily involve gender confirmation surgeries, but also elective and reconstructive cosmetic surgeries, laparoscopic bariatric surgeries, urological surgeries, and otorhinolaryngological surgeries. Furthermore, the CMC offers the care required for surgeries through its pre- and post-operative clinic, its care units, and its competent staff, who are attentive to client needs.
