The Centre hospitalier de Versailles is a public health establishment, support for the Yvelines Sud hospital territory group (GHT). Since October 1, 2019, it has been under joint management with the Plaisir Hospital Center, Le Vésinet Hospital, and the Les Aulnettes nursing home in Viroflay, to enable the pooling of certain functions and the development of care pathways. The Director General of these four establishments is Pascal Bellon. The CHV teams, over 2800 professionals including 426 doctors and midwives and 13 academics, are spread across the Yvelines Sud territory: the André Mignot hospital in Chesnay-Rocquencourt, the Richaud site and the Maison Despagne in Versailles, the early medico-social action centers (CAMSP) in Versailles and Trappes, the addiction care, support, and prevention centers (CSAPA) in Andrésy, Bois d'Arcy, and Versailles. The CHV offers quality care focused on patient pathways: the elderly, mental health, or rehabilitation. It is thus developing outpatient activity to allow patients to return to normal life more quickly. As the headquarters of SAMU 78, the CHV also has an adult and child emergency reception service, a medico-legal unit, two nursing homes, and a maternity ward fully renovated in 2017. Multidisciplinary, it covers all surgical, medical, and obstetrical activities: from cardiology to orthopedics, including digestive surgery and ophthalmology.
