The Sens Hospital is a public health facility located at the crossroads of the Ile-de-France, Champagne-Ardenne, and Centre-Val de Loire regions. The CH de Sens is the support establishment for the Nord Yonne Hospital Group, which includes the CH of Joigny and Villeneuve sur Yonne. The hospital has 1,212 FTEs, including 135 FTEs for medical personnel and 1,077 FTEs for non-medical personnel. The Centre Hospitalier de Sens has a capacity of 632 beds and places. It is an establishment providing medicine, surgery, and obstetrics (MCO) activities, as well as short-term and rehabilitation care, and has a 240-bed EHPAD (Accommodation Establishment for Dependent Elderly People). The Sens hospital is organized into three clinical and medico-technical activity poles: The Surgery, Oncology, and Medico-Technical Services Pole; The Medicine, Woman-Mother-Child Department Pole; The Geriatrics-Autonomy Pole. Evolving towards a modernized hospital, faithful to the values of public hospital service and responding to the growing needs of the population of Northern Yonne, are the ambitions of the Centre Hospitalier de Sens. The Territorial Hospital Group (GHT), which concerns the hospitals of Sens, Joigny, and Villeneuve-sur-Yonne, allows for the structuring and strengthening of healthcare services in the territory.
