The Centre de gestion du Tarn is a local public administrative body that provides daily assistance and expertise in human resources management to the local authorities in its department. It also guides the general public in discovering career paths and access routes to the territorial civil service. The CDG81 performs two categories of missions. The mandatory missions, provided for by law for all management centers, include informing on territorial public employment, organizing competitions and exams, supporting agents' professional development, managing careers and retirement issues, legal and statutory assistance, the functioning of consultative bodies, managing trade union rights within local authorities, secretarial services for the medical council, mediation, etc. In addition to mandatory skills, the CDG81 offers a range of optional missions in the areas of consulting and support (recruitment assistance, archiving, organizational consulting, HR litigation prevention, etc.) and on the health and occupational risk prevention aspect (disability and maintaining employment, preventive medicine, work psychology, prevention, statutory risk insurance, territorial interim, etc.)
