About CCFD-Terre Solidaire

CCFD-Terre Solidaire works alongside the most vulnerable populations against all forms of injustice, and primarily against hunger. Solving the problem of hunger is a prerequisite for resolving all other injustices such as access to education, health, and poverty. Our action supports all women and men who need it, without distinction of religion or spirituality. We act on the causes rather than responding to emergencies. Far from assistance and emergency practices, our action involves supporting local partner associations, because they are the ones who hold the appropriate solutions for their territories. Thus, we never do it "in place of" but "with them". We support nearly 500 local partners in 70 countries by backing their projects. Each year, we have a positive impact on the lives of more than 2.4 million people worldwide.
