Casa Santa Luzia opened its doors in 1926, at the corner of Augusta and Oscar Freire streets. These were still the days of gas lamps in São Paulo and expenses noted in a ledger and paid at the end of the month. The Jardins neighborhood was just beginning to emerge as an area of beautiful houses and estates for the São Paulo elite. Seeing a scene of sophistication and elegance, Daniel Lopes, a native of Portugal, opened his business, Santa Luzia, working with the concept of variety and quality, offering the best food products produced in Brazil and around the world for his clients. A very well-equipped emporium, still small in size, but already distinguished by its service, which sought to meet all the needs of its clients: from special attention during purchases to importing products. The store grew along with the Jardins neighborhood, moved in 1981 to its current address on Alameda Lorena, and today has a team of over 500 employees, with modern facilities covering a sales area of approximately 2200 m². Casa Santa Luzia is now part of the itinerary for gastronomy lovers and aims to maintain the quality and variety of its products with differentiated service. House brands since 1926. Visit us, be surprised, and have the opportunity to be personally attended by members of the Lopes family.
