A bit of our history When she lived with her family in João Pinheiro, Minas Gerais, a city with less than 50,000 inhabitants, Dona Maria Madalena could not foresee the success that the products she made at home would have in the country's capital. The move to Brasília happened gradually. First came her children Márcia and Ricardo, in the early 90s, in search of work and professional growth. Then came the mother and younger children in hopes of better health treatment for her son Rodrigo, who was suffering from cancer. Finally, Seu Aguinaldo came, who still resisted the definitive move to a big city like Brasília. In a short time, the growth in sales forced the family to rent a basement for product manufacturing. Good products, entrepreneurial vision, and persistence were the recipe for growth and what determined the emergence of the Casa de Biscoitos Mineiros brand in 1996. The production capacity and market size have allowed the opening of more stores in the same neighborhood. This happened, for example, with Águas Claras, which received a store in a new format, without production. Other stores opened, such as the one in the Sudoeste neighborhood and the café in ParkShopping, attest to the ability to diversify and conquer new audiences. This is the spirit that moves the group. Brasília is just the beginning.
