They’re passionate about making meaningful changes to improve outcomes in these areas. One of the challenges individuals often face is the transition of care between agencies and locations. LifeHouse stands out by offering a robust continuum of care and creating pathways to treatment, especially in rural areas. This allows individuals to move quickly and smoothly to the most appropriate level of care, building on the relationships they have already formed with their care team instead of starting over at each transition. Carlsbad LifeHouse offers a range of services to support individuals through their recovery journey: 24/7 Crisis Services – LifeHouse provides compassionate, judgment-free support across Eddy County, ensuring everyone can access help when they need it most. Whether they’re experiencing a mental health crisis or simply feeling overwhelmed, trained professionals are always ready to assist them. Detox Program—LifeHouse offers a 12-bed detox facility with medically monitored care for individuals experiencing withdrawal. A team of medical, behavioral, and peer staff provides 24/7 support. Residential Treatment Program – Accredited treatment for individuals facing persistent substance use struggles, with separate programs for men, women, and women with children. Sober Living Homes – Four homes for men, women, and women with children help ease the transition from residential treatment to the next level of care. Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) — IOP is a 16-week program that offers licensed clinicians and peer support, available both in person and online, to accommodate individual needs. Counseling Services – Licensed clinical therapists are available to work with individuals of all ages and needs, both for LifeHouse clients and the general community. Group therapy is also offered (Anger management, Grief Counseling, and Substance Use groups meet weekly). LifeMed Medical Clinic – A Family Nurse Practitioner provides primary care, psychiatric evaluations, and other services to LifeHouse clients and the broader community. Family Empowerment Program – Free weekly sessions (offered in both English and Spanish) using the Community Reinforcement and Family Training model to help family members of individuals with substance use disorders support their loved ones while prioritizing their well-being. RISE Program – In partnership with Eddy County, LifeHouse offers peer-led recovery classes at the Detention Center to provide inmates with practical skills for reintegration. The program also offers post-release support with basic needs, financial assistance, and training for correctional officers on mental health and substance use issues.
