We are the welfare association of the Catholic Church in Stuttgart – and one of the largest providers of independent welfare services in the region. With around 2,200 full-time and 850 volunteer employees, we at Caritasverband work daily to advise, support, and assist people in Stuttgart in all walks of life. Our areas of assistance include: Support for the elderly and old people Work support and integration into employment Assistance for people with disabilities Child, youth, and family services Addiction and social psychiatric services Migration and integration Assistance for homeless, indebted, and poverty-threatened people Based on the fundamental attitude of Christian charity, we not only help individuals but also actively shape social and political developments in Stuttgart.
