Carglass® Italia

About Carglass® Italia

Founded in 1988, Carglass® Italia is a leader in the car glass repair and replacement sector. Carglass®, a brand of the Belron® Group, a South African group founded in 1897, offers a quality service for resolving car glass and bodywork problems for end consumers, insurance companies, and fleets through a network of over 200 car glass centers throughout Italy and 100 mobile glass service units. More than 830 employees work every day with the sole mission of making a difference, taking care of over 300,000 customers each year. The customer is at the center of our model and, thanks to a truly high-profile service experience (in glass, 53% of interventions are carried out within 24 hours of the first contact and 70% within 48), we enjoy reviews of 4.7 out of 5.0. The values that distinguish us are professional ethics, founded on the principles of integrity, respect, and trust; respect for the environment, which translates into ISO 14001 certification relating to the Environmental Management System and special projects aimed at reducing CO² emissions through continuous improvement of business processes and control over waste produced; giving back, with the support of countless local and national initiatives and the Group's support for the non-profit organization Afrika Tikkun, which promotes projects to improve the quality of life in some of South Africa's main communities. Carglass®'s activity is supported by the Company's logistics branch represented by Origlass®, operational since 1988, which, with its main warehouse of 12,000 square meters located in Origgio (VA) and 7 peripheral hubs, guarantees the storage and distribution service of glass throughout Italy.
