Canyon Vista Medical Center (CVMC) is a Joint Commission Accredited 100-bed acute care hospital in Sierra Vista, Arizona. CVMC was founded in 1963 as Western Baptist Osteopathic Hospital in the outskirts of Sierra Vista. As the community grew, the hospital grew with it and in 2015 opened its doors to the 177,000 square foot and state-of-the-art facility. Our team of physicians and medical professionals share a common goal to treat everyone like family, providing the peace of mind that comes from receiving extraordinary care, close to home. CVMC is a Level III Trauma Center, an Arizona Cardiac Receiving Center, received The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for Advanced Certification for Total Hip and Knee Replacement, and is a Pink Ribbon Facility for Breast Health Excellence featuring 3D Mammography.
