The Cambridge Food Co-op is a nonprofit cooperative serving the public and its membership with wholesome, affordable foods and locally produced products. The Co-op embodies a strong spirit of respect for our members and the Cambridge community. Incorporated in 1978, staffed solely by working members, the Co-op has grown steadily to include over 300 members with gross annual sales over a half million. The Co-op employs a Manager and 3 part-time shift supervisors who oversee about 100 working members. The store is located on the main street of picturesque Cambridge, NY and has a friendly hometown feel. Cambridge Food Co-op has experienced rapid growth in membership and in sales during the past four years and expects to continue in this direction as the greater public becomes committed to healthy food choices.
