About CAK

The CAK is a professional and reliable executive organization in the healthcare and welfare sector. We hold a central position in healthcare by implementing financial arrangements and informing citizens. One of the tasks is to determine and collect the personal contributions for the Social Support Act (Wmo) and the Long-Term Care Act (Wlz). We also do this for the parental contribution under the Youth Act. Additionally, we are responsible for the financing of Wlz institutions and we disburse the general allowance for the chronically ill and disabled (Wtcg). The CAK is also responsible for legalizing Schengen declarations. Together with our 1,100 employees, we perform these tasks in a customer-oriented manner, with respect and understanding for people and rules. These main tasks are derived from 6 statutory duties.
