Skandinaviska Byggelement is one of Sweden's leading suppliers of prefabricated concrete elements. We deliver ready-to-assemble elements for residential buildings, offices, industries, and commercial premises. Building with a concrete frame means building with an environmentally friendly material. Concrete is durable, moisture-resistant, sound and heat insulating, and fire-safe. Skandinaviska Byggelement has manufacturing units in Katrineholm, Hallsberg, Kalmar, Bjästa, and Hallstahammar, as well as offices in Katrineholm, Norrköping, Malmö, and Lindome. In Katrineholm, prefabricated concrete elements such as flat slabs and shell walls are manufactured. This factory is one of Europe's most modern and automated factories for industrial production of concrete elements for multi-family houses, offices, and industries. In Hallsberg, sandwich elements, solid walls, and D-D/F slabs (solid floor structures) as well as balcony slabs and customized elements are manufactured. The Kalmar factory specializes in balcony slabs. The Bjästa factory is an all-round factory that manufactures various types of special products and custom concrete elements. The factory in Hallstahammar (production start 2013) manufactures hollow-core slabs. Together with our subsidiary Lättklinkerbetong AB, we are part of the Peab Group.
