About Bund der Selbständigen Baden-Württemberg e.V.

We at BDS (Bund der Selbständigen Baden-Württemberg e.V.) are a voluntary association of self-employed entrepreneurs – from trade, crafts, liberal professions, gastronomy, commerce, and small and medium-sized industries. As Baden-Württemberg's largest cross-industry business association, we have been representing the interests of our members since 1852. Through the trade and commerce associations, we act locally, form a large network for our members, and are the voice of the middle class at all levels. We network our members and bundle their economic interests, support them in maintaining business contacts, and offer a platform for engaging with current challenges and future topics. We maintain and promote the culture of self-employment in the state in a non-partisan and independent manner.
