Beijing Urban Construction Group (BUCG) is a large international comprehensive construction group with six core businesses: Construction Engineering, Real Estate Development, Design, Landscaping, Property Management, and Investment & Financing. They have developed a high-efficiency industrial chain integrating upstream and downstream construction industries with outstanding competitiveness. In 2019, BUCG ranked 13th in ENR Top 250 Global Contractors, 105th in “Top 250 International Contractors”, and 66th in “Top 150 Global Designers”. They also won the Overseas Construction Engineering Luban Prize. BUCG currently owns total assets of 323.1 billion RMB, employing 34,978 staff. BUCG has constructed many national and provincial key projects, such as Beijing Daxing International Airport terminal, the National Stadium, the National Theater for the Performing Arts, the National Museum, the National Indoor Stadium, the Olympic Basketball Stadium, the Olympic Village, Beijing International Horticultural Exposition, and Terminal 3 of Beijing Capital International Airport. They have also undertaken major metro and expressway projects for many cities domestically and overseas, winning China’s highest Luban Prize of Construction Industry, China Quality Engineering Prize, and Tien-yow Jeme Civil Engineering Prize 156 times. Projects currently under construction include the Beijing Auxiliary City Center and projects for the Beijing Winter Olympics. The construction of three core projects for the Beijing Winter Olympics, including the National Speed Skating pavilion, the National Alpine Ski Center, and the village of the Winter Olympics, makes BUCG the only general contractor in the world to have built stadiums for both the Summer and Winter Olympic Games.
