This also applies to the company founder Karl Bader, who laid the foundation stone of the company on March 28, 1966, by registering the new company in the commercial register. Karl Bader already submitted the first building plans for the BRAUN Möbel-Center Jettenburg in July 1963, but they were rejected. But the young entrepreneur didn't give up. Following the motto "Constant dripping wears away the stone," he finally succeeded in the autumn of 1965 in submitting new building plans. The building permit was granted in April 1966. The Jettenburg and Freudenstadt stores were already opened in the founding year. The young, up-and-coming company under the management of Managing Director Karl Bader experienced a powerful upswing in the following years. Today, the BRAUN Möbel-Center group of companies, with 10 furniture stores, is one of the most successful furniture providers in the industry.
