Bilim İlaç, which began operations in 1953, is a 100% Turkish-owned company engaged in the production and marketing of strategically important pharmaceuticals. Bilim İlaç carries out its production in two separate facilities. Bilim Çerkezköy, approved by the German Ministry of Health, is one of Turkey's most important penicillin production facilities. Bilim Gebze, approved by the UK Ministry of Health, is Turkey's largest, newest, and most environmentally friendly pharmaceutical production facility. With its R&D center, the largest in the Turkish pharmaceutical sector, featuring a 4,500 square meter laboratory area, Bilim İlaç makes significant contributions to the Turkish economy with the new products it develops.
