Following this motto, the BEZIRKSVERBAND OLDENBURG manages 17 highly qualified specialized facilities for people with disabilities, institutions for child and youth welfare, homeless assistance, and nursing homes for seniors. The employees are committed to creating positive living conditions for the people they care for, accompanying and supporting them, and realizing their integration into society. The goal is for each individual to live as independently as possible while receiving as much protection and support as necessary. The BVO's facilities serve exclusively and directly charitable purposes. The association also manages a variety of charitable foundations. In the spirit of the donors, the foundation's purposes are implemented by the foundation management and adapted to current requirements. The Oldenburg supply fund and the central care rate office are assigned to the BVO in terms of personnel and space. The Bezirksverband Oldenburg is a modern, future-oriented company under public sponsorship. Its members are the independent cities of Delmenhorst, Oldenburg, and Wilhelmshaven, as well as the districts of Ammerland, Cloppenburg, Friesland, Oldenburg, Vechta, and Wesermarsch. The BVO employs over 1300 employees.
