Beto Carrero World

About Beto Carrero World

Welcome! Inaugurated in 1991, in the city of Penha, Santa Catarina, Beto Carrero World became a reality thanks to the dream of its creator João Batista Sérgio Murad. Great shows, rides, such as the first inverted roller coaster in Brazil, and a place dedicated to animal care were just some of the attractions made available to the public. Since its opening, Beto Carrero World has generated millions in investments and encouraged the economic development of the entire region. The enterprise ranks among the best amusement parks in the world and is considered the first in South America, according to a survey by the respected travel site TripAdvisor. There are over 100 attractions distributed across nine themed areas (Pirate Island, Triplikland, German Village, Nations Avenue, Old West, Animal World, Hot Wheels, Radical Adventure, Fantasy Land, and Madagascar) and an International Kart Track attached to the enterprise. The Brazilian entertainment complex has gained international respect and today partners with the Hollywood studio – DreamWorks Animation. With this initiative, it brings the Latin American public closer to characters loved all over the world.
