About Bemisa

With 18 years of experience, we are currently present in all regions of the country, with a diversified portfolio that includes a wide range of minerals such as iron ore, gold, nickel, rare earths, phosphate, and limestone. We have projects in different stages of mineral activity, from the greenfield stage to operation, and we have more than 2100 employees throughout Brazil engaged in our purpose. Currently, we have three Iron Ore operations in Minas Gerais: the Baratinha and Mongais Mines, belonging to the Baratinha Complex, and the Pedra Branca Mine. Our first iron ore operation, the Baratinha Mine, in the Aço Valley, began operations in 2014 and has a wet beneficiation plant with a capacity of 2.5 million tons per year. In 2024, the Mongais project, with a dry production capacity of 1.5 million tons per year, began operations, increasing the total capacity of the Baratinha Complex to 4.0 million tons per year. In the municipalities of João Monlevade and Itabira (MG), we began the operation of the Pedra Branca project in the third quarter of 2025. The project has resources of 130 million tons, with 33 million tons of high grade, and its production is expected to reach 2.0 million tons per year at full capacity, with dry processing only. In addition, Bemisa has a pilot-scale gold operation in the state of Pará, in Água Azul do Norte, near the polymetallic district of Carajás. Developed since the greenfield stage, the project does not use a tailings dam and primarily employs local workers. We believe in the potential of mining in Brazil and are committed to integrating sustainability into our operations, generating socioeconomic development in all regions where we operate.
