Barrett Petfood was introduced to the pet food industry when a piece of equipment was purchased by Mike Barrett to manufacture farm products. When Sarah realized that the piece of equipment was designed for food manufacturing, they knew they had to make the transition to pet food and started out making food for exotic animals. From there, Barrett got established with a lot of family-owned businesses that took the time to work with them and helped establish quality programs to get Barrett where they are today. Slowly, Barrett started building up their customer base and made the transition into super premium dog and cat food. Today, Barrett Petfood has around 400 different formulas for an array of pet food from turtle, bird, and primate to cat and dog. Barrett remains a family owned and operated business and establishes trust, stability, and growth opportunity for the entire team.
