The Badische Backstub' was founded in 1880 as F. Weber Bread and Fine Bakery and has been known for the outstanding quality of its baked goods ever since. As a traditional craft business, Badische Backstub' relies on tried-and-tested manufacturing processes and high-quality ingredients. The around 330 employees in each of the 31 specialist shops and in the bakery still live by the attitude "(B)rot ist Liebe" (Bread is Love) every day. This is how every single pretzel is hand-braided, croissants are still hand-rolled, and the sourdough is given that extra bit of time that makes it so distinctive.
