Båstads kommun

About Båstads kommun

Båstad is Sweden's 132nd largest municipality by population, located at the very top of northwestern Skåne. Given its location on Sweden's most beautiful peninsula, we are surrounded by the sea on three-quarters of our borders. Båstad Municipality is one of the municipality's largest employers with nearly 1,200 monthly employed staff. The municipality's goal is to be an attractive employer that can hire, develop, and retain competent and engaged employees in both the short and long term. One of the municipality's largest and most important tasks is to develop functional operations for its residents. This is based on shared core values: Professionalism, joy of work, respect, responsibility, clarity, and openness.
