About Bäckerei Horsthemke GmbH

With the joy of baking, the willingness to learn, and the courage to break new ground, we have been able to realize what is close to our hearts every day – satisfied customers – and will continue to do so in the future with our high quality standards and dedicated employees. Immerse yourself in our exciting, over hundred-year-old company history. Learn more about the beginnings in a small bakery, in a time when journeymen were also compensated with room and board, right up to the modern large bakery with over a thousand employees. By the way: Dahlmann belongs to us – and has for 1988! The Horsthemke brothers took over the Wuppertal bakery in 1988 and have since continued not only the Dahlmann tradition with their own specialties, but also the good name unchanged. Dahlmann has now grown steadily in Wuppertal and throughout the Bergisches Land with further branches and currently over 445 employees.
