Ernst Balzer began with his first bakery in Marne in 1963. Since the mid-70s, branch after branch has been added to this headquarters, most of them in Dithmarschen. When his son Olaf took over the management of Bäckerei Balzer in 1989, there were five branches – currently there are 23. Even if the range and size of the branches vary, the distinctive Balzer look is the same everywhere. Our goal is for our customers to feel comfortable with us, and we are happy to fulfill individual wishes for that. We are constantly working to maintain our high product quality. Because the freshness and variety of our regional baked goods, the search for new innovative ideas for our customers is a task that drives us every day. Cohesion and team spirit are our strengths. All departments work hand in hand. We listen to each other and treat each other with respect. Because only in this way can we continue to develop dynamically in the future and secure our jobs. Freshness is the best recipe. That's why we work with fresh ingredients in the bakery whenever possible. Our delivery tours start every day at dawn.
