AZ Turnhout is a non-profit organization where the Board of Directors has entrusted daily management to a management committee. The input of doctors in the hospital's policy is, as in all hospitals, provided through the work of the medical council. Furthermore, strong involvement and policy participation of hospital doctors is achieved through the SPEC (Strategic Joint Executive Committee) where 6 management members and 6 doctors shape daily policy according to the principles of Hospital Governance. AZ Turnhout has structured its activities and services into five departments, each headed by a director. They are under the leadership of the CEO. Medical Department Nursing Department Administration and Finance Department Human Resources Department Facility Management Department Operational daily management is in the hands of the management committee.
