About AZ SINT-BLASIUS

AZ Sint-Blasius aims to be a leader in the region and, as a healthcare organization, strives for the best possible health for the population. To achieve this mission, the foundations for a sustainable and evidence-based quality management system were laid in 2000. The direction in which we evolve and the way we do it together form the Blasius Identity. ‘Getting Better Together’ is the central idea. We fully embrace collaboration (‘Together’) and continuous responsible improvement (V3 or ‘Getting Better’). The Blasius Direction shows the four domains in which we want to excel and describes the objectives we aim for in each of these domains. In our sector, these four domains together are also called the ‘quadruple aim’. For each domain, focus objectives with concrete improvement projects are identified annually to improve care quality (click here for the 2022 focus objectives). The Blasius Way is the unique way we achieve our objectives at az Sint-Blasius. It is based on lean management principles and consists of four interconnected elements: leadership, behavior, approach, and measurements. The Blasius Way aims to offer excellent care and quality service to the population across the board.
