Ayala Multi-Purpose Cooperative (Ayala Coop) is a cooperative owned by regular employees of the Ayala Group of Companies and its subsidiaries. It was founded in October 1995 by 21 Ayala Group employees with an initial capitalization of P10,500. The Ayala Coop has become one of the country's biggest cooperatives in terms of membership, currently surpassing the 37,000 mark. It has more than Php3 Billion in capitalization and has a long list of awards given by the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) and the Makati Cooperative Council, including the Most Outstanding Cooperative in terms of net worth and being the top cooperative in terms of total number of membership. Its products and loan facilities are also some of the most creative and varied, providing its members with a wide array of choices and benefitting them not only through easy access but also through reasonable interest charges, rebates and a novel patronage refund.
