About Aveleijn

For almost 50 years, Aveleijn has offered care, support, treatment, and advice to children, young people, adults, and seniors with an intellectual disability or low social resilience. With approximately 80 locations in the municipality of Berkelland and the 14 municipalities in Twente, we are strongly regionally anchored. We are an integral part of local society and help our clients understand society as much as possible, so they can participate in it positively. From the mission 'life full of meaning' and the core values 'encountering', 'developing', and 'supporting', we create space for the development of one's own identity. We help our clients find and achieve goals. Because when you know who you are, you can grow, innovate, and push boundaries. For yourself and in your relationship with others. Through guidance, training, and events, we invest in talents, skills, creativity, friendships, and positive energy. Within the living and care environment, health, security, safety, and respect are central.
