Avant Spirit

About Avant Spirit

Avant Spirit is located in the Emmaus Monastery in Velp near Grave. For years, this monastery was the domicile of the Capuchins. Now the community consists of a Capuchin and other residents (women and men). Avant Spirit offers a resting place for anyone who wants a time-out. To come to rest and make a new start. To gain new spirit to move on. We offer retreats and (multi-day) courses for individuals with excessive chronic stress complaints and for individuals who are at risk of or have had a burnout. The community is housed in the monastery and guests can stay there. There is a chapel and church where services are held and where everyone who wishes is welcome. We also have a separate building with a well-equipped course room and 12 single rooms. At the top is a large attic where all sorts of activities can take place. The monastery has a very large garden, which is also accessible to our guests.
