Founded in 1964, Autometal began its activities producing and marketing components and accessories for the national Automotive Industry. Today, after five decades, Autometal – Diadema (Headquarters) has a built area of approximately 30,000m², with a team of approximately 700 employees. This rise reflects the transparency, competence, enthusiasm, and dedication of its managers, along with their entire team, as well as the trust and collaboration of its Clients and Suppliers. The company is formed by four Business Units based on the following technologies – Metallurgy, Plastic Injection, Vacuforming, and Extrusion. These units are supported by the corporate departments: Economic and Financial, Logistics, IT, and HR. In addition to these departments, we have a Technological Center (CTA) that involves the areas of quality/product/plant and automation engineering. In the Metallurgical Business Unit, processes for Medium and Light Stamping, Profiles, Liquid and Powder Coating are located. In the Extrusion Business Unit, processes for Extrusion, Co-Extrusion, and Over-Injection are located. In the Injection Business Unit, processes for Injection of small and medium-sized plastic parts, Assembly lines for sets, and Liquid Coating are located. In the Vacuforming Unit, tailgate protectors are produced.
