Aural, the pioneering audiology company, has its own retail brand, Aural Centros Auditivos. Under this brand, more than 300 cabinets operate throughout Spain, including company-owned centers, franchises, and independent distributors (called Aural Premium Partner). For over 45 years, Aural Centros Auditivos has been working to improve the hearing of people with hearing loss and reconnect them with their lives. To achieve this, it relies on the most trained and best-equipped professionals, the most demanding service protocols, and the exclusive distribution of an excellent product such as Widex hearing aids. This is why it defines itself as “the artisans of hearing”. AURAL WIDEX MILESTONES 1976 Juan Martínez Sanjosé co-founds the National Association of Hearing Aid Specialists and begins his tireless work to professionalize the sector. The commitment to training will always be in the group's DNA. 1978 Martínez Sanjosé founds Aural Widex with the aim of distributing Widex hearing aids in Spain through official distributors. 1983 In parallel with the company's growth, Martínez Sanjosé organizes the new hearing aid specialist qualification at the El Clot School in Barcelona, which is taught for the first time in Spain. 2004 As a result of the training experience that Aural Widex possesses, Escuela Aural Widex is launched: the first school in Spain to offer distance learning to facilitate the qualification of hearing aid specialists for active professionals. 2008 The Aural Retail model, based on excellence, is created. 2017 Aural Widex presents its franchising proposal with the aim of sharing its successful business model with industry professionals and investors. 2022 The Aural brand has around 250 hearing centers and continues its expansion.
