About Atlantic Nickel

Atlantic Nickel has been operating since 2019 in the exploration, mining, processing, and commercialization of nickel concentrate. The produced sulfated nickel, after a refining process, is the main component in the manufacturing of batteries that equip the growing electric vehicle market. In addition to nickel, our concentrate has relevant levels of copper and cobalt, which further increases the product's added value. The operations of the Santa Rita Mine are concentrated in the municipality of Itagibá, in Bahia, northeastern Brazil, about 370 kilometers from the capital Salvador (BA). The operation is well located, close to basic infrastructure, including energy, water, and transportation, only 6 km from Ipiaú, Bahia, a municipality that supplies most of our workers. The location is also strategic as it is only 140 kilometers from the Port of Ilhéus, a city in southern Bahia, well-positioned from the perspective of ore export.
