AST Products, Inc. has been a world leader for over 35 years in the research of biocompatible materials and the development and commercialization of medical-grade coatings for the ophthalmology sector. We have a multidisciplinary technical and scientific team composed of physicists, chemists, and engineers specializing in biomaterials, trained at the most prestigious universities and recognized by the international scientific community. After more than 3 decades contributing value to leading companies in the ophthalmology sector, and after a long R&D journey in intraocular lens technology, in 2017 the #Asqelio material was developed, our family of uniquely designed bispheric intraocular lenses, with clinical safety and efficacy backed by comprehensive control of visual outcomes from theoretical simulation to clinical implementation. Thanks to the combination of unique technologies and recognized expertise, in 2019 the surgical division, AST VisionCare, was born with the aim of transforming #Phacorefractive Surgery and providing the best support to the entire international community of ophthalmologists.
