About Asociación Agape de El Salvador

What is Agape? AGAPE, is a Greek word that means: "To love unconditionally", a mature and perfect love, to love without expecting reward, it is the love that Christ practiced. The Agape Association of El Salvador was founded on March 4, 1978, by Father Flavian Mucci, a Franciscan priest based in El Salvador since 1967, with the aim of helping the most unprotected people in society through the charism of his work. Therefore, the Agape Association of El Salvador is a human development institution that executes care programs, and which combined with productive projects or activities generate resources for its sustainability. This philosophy has allowed the Association to remain over time and increase its social impact; it has also served as a model for many organizations to implement projects nationally and internationally.
