The origin of ASEGURADORA AGRICOLA COMERCIAL S.A. is intimately linked to the creation of Banco Agrícola Comercial. Founded by Don Luis Escalante Arce in 1955 with the revolutionary philosophy of that era, to give access to banking to people with modest incomes, thereby generating a savings culture in the population. After 18 years of success with Banco Agrícola, in 1973 Don Luis Escalante and a group of 66 shareholders decided to found Aseguradora Agrícola Comercial, with a share capital of $171,428.00 and the same objective as the Bank: to benefit the largest number of people who had never had access before, in this case, to life insurance. Our product portfolio includes personal, auto, residential, business, medical insurance, and bonds. We are very proud to count among our clients companies from the public and private sectors, as well as a large number of individual policyholders.
