Argyll and Bute Council

About Argyll and Bute Council

Beautiful Argyll and Bute is in the west coast of Scotland, both beside and a world away from the central belt of Scotland. We have outstanding places, people and potential for a prosperous future for everyone. The award-winning Council serves a population of almost 90,000 people who live across Scotland's second largest mainland council area, and 23 islands. With our partners, local people and businesses, we are making Argyll and Bute a place people choose to live, learn, visit and do business.
