Henri LAFAY, President of the Federation of APAJH, wishes for the creation of a Departmental Committee in the Val-d'Oise. Under the impetus of Roger HERMET, President of the Argenteuil local section, André ROMANET and the activists working in Goussainville for children and people with disabilities, this Departmental Committee was established in 1984. October 1, 1995: opening in Argenteuil of the "La Cerisaie" accommodation center for workers with disabilities. It is the first establishment managed by APAJH du Val-d'Oise. 1997: Creation of the Specialized Accommodation Center and the Work Assistance Center in Domont, the town where the Headquarters of APAJH du Val-d'Oise moved. Over the years, the transfer of management of establishments managed by the federation was negotiated with the Departmental Committee of APAJH du Val-d'Oise. The Committee then created new establishments. 2008: APAJH du Val-d'Oise took over two establishments, one from the Condorcet Association (CMPP-SESSAD of Argenteuil) and the other from the APPSM Association (ESAT of Goussainville). 2012: the Headquarters of APAJH du Val-d'Oise moved to Plessis-Bouchard. 2018: the headquarters moved to Taverny. 2019: creation of a Professional SESSAD in Plessis-Bouchard.
