About Amplify | Go Girls!

Amplify is an education and youth-development practice focused on helping schools, educators, nonprofits, and community organizations create meaningful learning experiences for children and adolescents. Amplify is the home of Go Girls!, an established social-emotional learning and creative youth-development program serving girls, gender-expansive youth, and school-aged children. Go Girls! uses social-emotional learning, creative expression, movement, media, leadership development, and youth voice to help young people build confidence, emotional awareness, communication skills, healthy relationships, agency, and the capacity to make bold and brave choices in their lives and communities. Amplify acquired the Oakland-based business operations of Go Girls! in 2019, followed by its intellectual property and trademark in 2022. After years of direct-service camps, clubs, leadership programs, educator development, and community partnerships, Go Girls! transitioned from an owner-operated direct-service model to a licensing model in 2025. Today, Go Girls! curriculum and programming are available for licensing to schools, educators, youth-serving organizations, and community partners interested in bringing the Go Girls! experience to their own communities. Amplify also provides consulting and professional support in youth program design, curriculum development, direct-service programming, staff training, professional learning, social-emotional learning, and youth-centered organizational strategy. Go Girls! Oakland, the affiliated 501(c)(3), was founded to expand access to Go Girls! programming for school-aged children in Oakland, California. Its direct-service chapter represents years of investment in Oakland children, families, educators, and community partnerships. Our work remains grounded in a simple belief: young people deserve spaces where they can know themselves, use their voices, build meaningful relationships, and practice becoming the people they want to be.
