About Amethist Verslavingszorg

Amethist Verslavingszorg is an ambitious, young addiction treatment center, with its feet in the polder and an eye on the future. We offer clinical, outpatient, medical, and psychological treatment, individually and in groups, for all people with an addiction problem. In addition to addiction treatment, Amethist also offers its clients support with social recovery: we provide aftercare and medical support, and offer assertive outreach and case management to socially vulnerable clients, to help them participate fully in society again. We are growing in treatment offerings, in the number of clients treated, and in the number of therapists. We also work together more and more often and more intensively with municipalities and other healthcare providers in the region, just as GPs increasingly refer patients to us from outside the province of Flevoland (our primary catchment area). With locations in Almere, Lelystad, Emmeloord, Urk, Zeewolde, Dronten, and Amersfoort, we offer a complete package of addiction care throughout the entire province.
