ALTTA, Alliance Locale pour la Transition des Territoires d’Altitude, is a local public company operating in the mountain environment in Tignes and Sainte-Foy Tarentaise. ALTTA's main mission is to ensure the sustainability of local life for the inhabitants of its shareholder territories. Its values are: Respect for the territory and the mountain, for its enhancement and the creation of new perspectives. Well-being at work and in daily life, with a positive impact on the customer experience. ALTTA was created on January 6, 2025. Its General Director is Clément Colin during the prefiguration phase. This prefiguration period aims to set up the structure's organization and the necessary tools for its proper functioning. As of June 1, 2026, ALTTA will effectively bring together employees from the previous organizations STGM (Société du Téléphérique de la Grande Motte), Régie des Pistes de Tignes and SFTLD (Sainte-Foy Tarentaise Loisirs Développement). From this date, ALTTA will take charge of the management and operation of the Tignes and Sainte-Foy Tarentaise mountain areas within the framework of public service delegations.
