About Us: As a secular association and a company in the social and solidarity economy sector, the Association Laïque pour l’Éducation, la Formation, la Prévention et l'Autonomie (ALEFPA) has existed for over 50 years. ALEFPA was recognized as being of public utility in 1973. Our Mission: Our action and our reason for being are dedicated to children and adults in social difficulties or with disabilities. We are constantly seeking the best possible school, social, and professional integration, so that these individuals we welcome do not merely endure their lives but can control them with dignity within a society to which they belong as citizens. Personalized support for each individual is ALEFPA's core business. Our Values: - Secularism is understood as absolute respect for freedom of conscience, the rejection of all political and religious dogmatism and proselytism. - Solidarity and fraternity allow, in a spirit of equality, the consideration of the individual as being in perpetual development and reject all forms of racism and anti-Semitism. - Mutual tolerance opposes all forms of exclusion. - Democracy takes into account everyone's opinions regardless of their place and function within the association. - The primacy of the welcomed person implies respect for and recognition of their rights.
