About Alecta

Alecta exists so that you, with occupational pensions through your job, will have a secure economy both while you work and when you retire. Our task is to ensure that the pension grows and to work so that more people will benefit from the security of an occupational pension. With over 900 billion in managed capital, we are one of the Stockholm Stock Exchange's largest owners and one of Europe's largest pension companies. We have asset management entirely in-house, and our equity portfolio consists of 100 selected companies. In addition to that, we also invest in real estate and interest-bearing securities. This allows us to be extra careful about how companies, for example, use natural resources, take social responsibility, and act ethically in business. Working with occupational pensions means responsibility for many people's futures. Therefore, we want to contribute to developing tomorrow's pension system and supporting a good society.
