About Aktin

We are Aktin - a fitness magazine and e-shop with sports and healthy nutrition, a network of physical pickup points, and social media influencers. We are a team of passionate people with a common goal. Aktin was founded in 2010 as an online magazine. The goal was and still is to provide relevant information from the world of fitness, nutrition, and healthy living. We want to educate the public and encourage them to think about their lifestyle, helping and guiding them in the right direction. Less than a year later, Michal Hubík added an e-shop for sports nutrition and clothing to the educational part of Aktin magazine. This kick-started the entire project towards further growth. Currently, we have 3 physical stores in Brno, we are building our own brand, and we are constantly working on new products for our customers. We are active on social media and sponsor many interesting and inspiring personalities from the world of fitness and sports. Our editorial team publishes new articles based on the latest studies almost daily, we shoot training videos, and our nutrition specialists handle dozens of inquiries and advice, from the appropriate selection of products to health issues such as eating disorders. What are we like inside? Innovators, enthusiasts, hard workers, simply crazy about things that make sense. We have to be fast and adaptable. We are not afraid of change. Don't expect a dress code, a five-tier organizational structure, binders of directives and work procedures from us. Each of us contributes directly to the company's results with our efforts. We know when to work hard and where we have gaps. We value mutual trust and openness. We make mistakes, and thanks to that, we are constantly learning. We play sports and love to eat :) You can see for yourself on our Instagram:
