About AgSUS

Created by law by the Federal Government in 2023, AgSUS is an autonomous social service, with public purpose, non-profit, which carries out activities of collective interest. Its purpose is to support the Ministry of Health (MS), especially in the provision, fixation strategies and training of professionals in vulnerable regions with care gaps at all levels of care in Indigenous Health, Primary Care and Specialized Care. AgSUS is directed by an Executive Board (Direx), composed of the Presidency – responsible for strategic direction and supervision of institutional activities – and the Directorates of Integral Health Care and Operations, which coordinate the technical, operational and support areas. The governance structure also includes a Deliberative Council, the highest collegiate decision-making body responsible for approving institutional guidelines and actions, and a Fiscal Council, responsible for overseeing the Agency's administrative and financial management.
