The Agence de mobilité durable is a para-municipal organization that innovates for more sustainable mobility, by managing the spaces entrusted to it in the roadside and in off-street parking lots, through its public space monitoring activities in the Montreal territory and through improved information to the community. It puts its expertise in sustainable mobility at the service of the City of Montreal to improve quality of life and support economic vitality by facilitating the equitable sharing of space and the accessibility of the city for all. By supporting actions that promote urban mobility, the Agency works to improve the customer experience, street sharing, and public space occupation, among other things. It also relies on its operational and experimentation capabilities to support the City of Montreal and its partners in achieving their objectives, while uniting mobility stakeholders. Since January 1, 2020, the activities of Société en commandite Stationnement de Montréal, as well as those of the Service d’application réglementaire de stationnement (SARS), which was part of the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal, have been transferred to the Agence de mobilité durable.
