Founded in 1985, AFA – Consultores de Engenharia, Lda. operated in the sector of Engineering Projects, Coordination and Works Management until 1994, when, responding to market requests, afaplan – Planeamento e Gestão de Projectos, S.A. was created, to which all its activity, people and know-how in Project and Works Management was transferred. The company has grown and expanded over these 35 years, today establishing itself as a group of companies with extensive experience in Project Management in various cultures and environments - 4 continents - which allows it to integrate human and technological know-how adapted to the best techniques of Civil Construction Management, from CPM (Construction Project Management) to EPCM (Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management). Today we have offices in Porto and Lisbon (Portugal), São Paulo and Mossoró (Brazil), Maputo (Mozambique) and Luanda (Angola). With a view to pursuing ever greater objectives, the group has a policy of continuous development of its Technicians and research into New Technologies and Products, which guarantee it permanent up-to-date knowledge and an installed capacity to respond to increasingly demanding challenges. And afaplan has a very strong back office prepared to provide effective and rigorous support to the challenges faced in each country/region where it operates, concentrating the areas of Support to the Integrated Management System, Organizational Development and Human Resources, Technical Development, Marketing, Commercial, Administrative and Financial Support, and Information and Communication Technologies.
