About Adapei 69

The Adapei 69 is the metropolitan and departmental Association of parents and friends of intellectually disabled individuals. For 70 years, it has been working to ensure that every person with an intellectual disability, multiple disabilities, psychological disability, or autism has access to appropriate care and support tailored to their situation and is as well integrated as possible into society. Adapei 69 brings together 1,200 members, supports 2,700 individuals (children and adults), and manages 60 services and establishments in the Lyon Metropolis and the Rhône department: early medical-social center, special education and home care service, medico-educational institute and medico-vocational institute, residential home, day care and life support homes, collective residence and home, social life support service, establishments and services for supported employment, adapted company, medicalized day care and medicalized care home, specialized care home. The Adapei 69 2017-2022 Associative Project: "Every person, regardless of their fragility, regardless of their disability, carries within them the capacity to develop and to positively change the perception and acceptance of our society, with everyone's help. We are committed to providing people with disabilities and their families with the means to access a dignified life that allows them to achieve their wishes and projects."
